Slowly approaching “That time of the Year”

We are approaching Christmas, even though it seems as if the year has just commenced due to the “new normal”, a time that brings joy and wonderful memories to all! Some donors have already started their planning and implementation of projects that create this “Feel Good” festive spirit of Giving.  We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Pastor Samuels from New Birth Ministries in Allandale for the Christmas boxes donated to all our children.
It has been a very long year, with limited telephonic and other contacts with family members using other social media platforms, but nothing can compare to the face to face contact with a loved one!
This donation will surely add excitement and boost the spirit of Christmas, especially at a time where we are awaiting a Directive from Department of Social Development as to whether any of them will get to visit home for the holidays!.

During this time, we have to give gratitude to an amazing God for answering our prayers and for keeping all our children protected and safe. .

Dear Shireen and Team…We appreciate you
Shireen and her team of Well Wishers adopted PCH a few months back and they have been supporting us in more ways than we had anticipated. These ladies are determined to bring positive changes for our Home and especially to create positive impact on our children.
During this month they made a wonderful donation of much needed lounge sets for two cottages and purchased two flat screen TVs for the senior boys and girls. They also purchased bedding sets for all the senior girls. We express our greatest gratitude for the contributions made to improve the daily living environment for our children.

Shireen Singh and team…we appreciate you

Remember us? We have bloomed

These are the plants we wrote about in last months newsletter. They were solely planted by our very own gardeners from our Garden Club. Look at how much they have bloomed. Plants are like humans they grow beautifully when they are planted with love. We also thank the Gift of the Givers that have donated equipment in recent months, and sent us fertilizer and different seedlings.

KZN Legislature in a fight against Covid-19
A huge sense of appreciation also goes out to our KZN Legislature for their donation of waterless sanitizers as well as branded masks for each child.
Seen above is Thenjiwe Thwala a representative from the KwaZulu-Natal Legislature with our children.
Thank you so much for assisting us in continuing the fight against the Coronavirus.
